We are proud to be part of the United Church of Christ, the Protestant denomination which proclaims that no matter who you are or where you are on life's journey, you are welcome HERE. Our tradition may be 2,000 years old, but our thinking is not. We know that "God Is Still Speaking," and we find in this message the certainty of God's extravagant welcome, reaching out especially to those who have felt there is no room for them in the church: the excluded and alienated, the spiritually homeless, the questioning. We study the Bible in its historical context and search the teachings of Jesus for their relevance in the world of today. We recognize that words are powerful, and so we use many words to describe God. Our God is not a man or a woman, but rather a creator, a sustainer, a being who loves us unconditionally and is always there to offer the grace of forgiveness when life trips us up.
If you find yourself questioning what life is all about, if you have doubts or even if your faith is strong and secure, if you are looking for a true church "home" where you can be authentic. . . worship with us on a Sunday morning. We will celebrate your being here!
